Summer Glau is an American actress known for her performance in the role of River Tam in the critically popular TV show Firefly and as Cameron in the show Terminator. Sarah Connor Chronicles. In addition to these television series as well, she's appeared on Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck and Hawaii Five-0 as well guest-starring in Angel The Unit Cape Arrow & Sequestered. She has featured in movies such as Knights of Badassdom or Serenity has also produced a large number of TV movies and shows. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . Selena was as the third child of Marcela Quintanilla as well as Abraham Quintanilla. Selena started her professional career when she was eight years old in a band that was formed by Abraham Quintanilla. Selena played lead guitar in the band, along with her two siblings Abraham junior playing base, and sister Suzette performing the drums. Selena acted as the singer. The band was called Selena Y Los Dino and she would perform along with her siblings at various bars restaurants wedding fairs and other events. The band was very time consuming for Selena as well as her brothers and sisters, so they didn't have much of an early childhood, but they were encouraged to become committed musicians due to the dedication by their father Abraham. Abraham Senior was part of the group Los Dinos. Selena Y Los Dinos formed officially in the year 1981. The band was the family business and the main source of revenue for the family. The Quintanilla family was determined to succeed despite the difficult times and financial difficulties initially. Selena Y Los Dinos, a band that gained popularity throughout the West by around the turn of the century is the result of their persistence. Selena's first success came in the year 1986, when she was awarded prizes for Female Vocalist of The Year and Performer Of the Year at Tejano music Awards. Selena Y Los Dinos grew in popularity and fame immediately afterward. The group was featured on a variety of Spanish-language TV shows including El Show De Johnny Canales Always On Sunday and Sabado Gigante.
